LeMond's G-Force Digital is a top-class recumbent bike. Former cycling pro Greg LeMond and his team put great emphasis on detail during the development process. Thus they have designed an exercise bike which provides everything necessary for a successful and motivating workout.
The new LeMond G-Force RT Digital is the only exercise bike on the market with an angle adjustable backrest. The latching unit consisting of the backrest which is upholstered with breathable net material and the comfortable and well padded seat, which is adjustable in five increments, facilitates a varied training programme. Hence the strain put on leg, abdominals and gluteal muscles can be controlled optimally and a comfortable, tension free seat position set. This makes the workout more effective and the user can keep going for longer.
The resistance can be changed manually or the user can choose between 13 programmes - hill, intervall, heart rate and watts controlled training, etc. The LeMond exercise bike G-Force RT Digital's special feature is its collection of six programmes for the improvement of cardio and maximum strength developed by Greg LeMond. These derive from the Tour-de-France winner's long-standing experience.
The new LeMond G-Force RT Digital's information transfer between cockpit, circuit board and brake is digital. Zunächst möchte ich, obwohl es sich um Produktbewertung handelt, das Hamburger Ladengeschäft als außerordentlich "hilfreich und gut" bezeichnen. Ich hatte die Möglichkeit, mehrere Liegeergometer oder auch Rudergeräte direkt zu testen und wurde ausgezeichnet über die Vor- und Nachteile von Geräten unterschiedlichster Preisklassen beraten. Rudergeräte wurden nach kurzer Beratung ausgeschlossen. Also sollte es ein Liegeergometer werden. Bei dem einen stieß ich mit den Füssen immer an die Mittelachsen, das andere machte einen wackeligen Eindruck. Auf nicht sofort sichtbare, aber wichtige Details und Einzelheiten wurde ich gezielt aufmerksam gemacht. Die Beratung war individuell und unbedingt professionell kompetent: Natürlich kann man auch online bestellen. Aber ich hätte sehr wahrscheinlich ohne die Möglichkeit, das Gerät vorher zu testen, eventuell das falsche bestellt. Solch ein Ladengeschäft ist unbedingt zu erhalten und unersetzlich! Damit das so bleibt, sollte man anständigerweise nach einer solchen Beratung auch dann dort kaufen!
Mit meinen neuen 10 Titan-Schrauben im Rücken sollte die Anschaffung eines passenden Trainingsgerätes, die ich vielleicht sogar nur 1x im Leben mache, schon perfekt stimmen. Die Tests einer größeren Auswahl dieser doch seltenen Geräte haben meine Entscheidung erst mit der professionellen und freundlichen Beratung zu dem LeMond-Liegeergometer gebracht.
Meiner Meinung nach ist das Gerät eine wahre "Augenweide". Natürlich ist das nicht der wichtigste Punkt. Aber warum soll man nicht täglich auf was Schönes schauen? Das Auge trainiert mit! Die Verarbeitung ist bestens, das Gerät auf die eigenen Körpermaße präzise einstellbar. Es ist laufruhig und hat noch viel mehr Vorteile. Man liest oft, das Display sei "altertümlich". Es ist halt einfarbig (bernstein auf schwarz), was ich aber eher angenehm finde. Es ist intuitiv les- und einstellbar. Ich brauche weder eine bunte Lightshow noch eine hippe Animation, wie toll ich doch bin, wenn ich mein Training absolviere.
Das LeMond ist soweit ich weiss studiotauglich - hält also was aus. Neben anderen verschiedenen Programmen sind auch medizinisch wertvolle Programme vorhanden: Herztraining, Fettverbrennung, pulskontrolliertes Training usw.
Von allen getesteten Liegeergometer ist der Sitz am bequemsten. Nicht nur der Abstand zu den Pedalen ist einstellbar. Die Lehne läßt sich auch kippen - ich glaube, das war das einzige Liegeergometer mit einstellbarer Neigung der Rückenlehne. Ich finde, so ist die Kraftübertragung präzise optimierbar, ohne dass ein unpassende Körperhaltung unnötige Rückenbeschwerden verursacht.
Die Trainings-Laufruhe ist nur mit "schwerem Gerät" zu erreichen: Und so wiegt das Gerät über 100 kg - selbst bei intensivem Training wackelt nix und man sitzt immer bequem und sicher.
Den Aufstellungsplatz sollte man vorher eindeutig bestimmen. Ich habe die Anlieferung samt Aufstellung dazugebucht, was ich keinesfalls bereue bzw. unbedingt empfehle. Es ist nicht billig aber preiswert. Es wird dann fertig montiert geliefert, die Werkzeuge und die Bedienungsanleitung werden überreicht. Die 2 sympatischen Herren hinterließen keine einzige Katsche im Hausflur oder in der Wohnung, trotz des erwähnten hohen Gewichts. Die Aufstellung war nicht einfach ein pures Abstellen, sondern Maßarbeit: Wichtigste Punkte wurden in aller Ruhe und Freundlichkeit besprochen und der endgültige Platz gefunden.
Was soll ich sagen? Sport Tiedje hat mir die Möglichkeit geschaffen, das für mich beste Trainingsgerät zu finden.
