The harder one pulls the greater the resistance. The resitance is continuously adjustable via a dial. - With only 8 litres of water up to 95kg weight can be simulated.

- As there is no tension when returning to the starting position, all strength can be put in the intitial motion of the exercise. Returning to the starting position is not dangerous even when absolutely tired.

- As Water Workx (unlike most strength training equipment) does not use guided resistance, exercising working against the water resistance as well as working against one's own body weight is a lot closer to reality and requires coordination which makes it more challenging
