All Stars Amino Drink

Every athlete uses up large amounts of energy during intense physical strain. Usually this need for energy is met by carbohydrates. When the carbohydrate provisions (glycogen) in the muscles and liver are exhausted, the body takes its energy from amino acids in order to gain energy. In order to prevent the catabolism of muscle which this could lead to, the used amino acids need to be replenished.
