Vibration training was first used in space travel. For a long time cosmonauts suffered from muscular atrophy during longer journeys as there was no possible way of exercising at zero gravity. An exercise model based on vibrations solved this problem. Proform also recognised the benefits of vibration exercise and have put a high-quality vibration platform on the market which is called Wellness.
The Proform Wellness vibration plate is made of stainless steel, has a powerful 250 watts motor and even different frequency settings (20-50Hz) for vibration. Furthermore various exercise programmes are available. As a result, the Proform Wellness vibration plate is very versatile and can be used to improve one's health or for fitness.
