The new Manta Ray is a patented injection-molded plastic barbell pad for added comfort and balance when training knee bends. During normal barbell training, the shoulder is only punctually and intensively strained. The Manta Ray divides the weight charge on a much larger area. Therefore, the athlete can concentrate much more intensively on the motion and achieves a better training effect.
The deepening of the bar of the Raw Power Manta Ray protects against unintended unrolling of the barbell bar and balancing motion which would be necessary otherwise.
